I think this brother was alarmed and wanted to get something solidly Amillennial into my hands before I drifted too maia to the dark side. Perhaps the most impactful part of the book for me from a long term view was the biography section in the introduction about Hendriksen’s life. I couldn’t recommend this book more for those who are new to eschatology like myselfand are ,ais of contemporary versions of the end times.

I think we need this kind of books more today than ever before. I first read it some years back, but reread it due the dispensationalist teaching vencedorea I was being assaulted with at my local church. The book, at times, is challenging, but is also equally rewarding.

Overall, this is the best commentary on Revelation that I have come across. Thus viewed, the entire Old Testament becomes one story, the story of the conflict between the seed of the woman and the dragon, between Christ and Satan.
