Cheap on ebay too as the hyper 8 ones are a straight fit. I recently bought a Cen Matrix which I think is a little more hardcore at the racing scene, the Hyper 7 is a bit heavy and slow around the corners, but its a well proven buggy and for club racing its a good buy.

I’ve seen corsa’s beat ferrari’s with the right bits on a strip or circuit Could a Hyper 7 with all the best parts and perfect setup n swapped out engine, extended chasis CNC, extended hubs, perfect tyres, carbon and ally upgrades etc not even compete? I think the point is if I had an f1 car and Schumachers had an gp2 car who would win aroun a circuit? I can’t run in the roar cos they only allow up to.
For example take Schumachers Ferrari F1 car from the year he joind Hypeg7 F1 and compare it to Schumachers Ferrari in the car from would be faster due to 10 years of development and race experience. BUT more on the driver.

AS all other buggies need the right setup to be able to win. CNC knuckles for sure. Cheers mate, mainly bashing but racing mates too After i searched around i found the right setup and now with my V-spec i’m among the fastest if not the fastest!!!!

I know this is kind of an old thread but i keep breaking the steering knuckles, do you think i should just get the cnc ones or save up and get the PBS conversion?
I was under htper7 impression Hypers were brilliant for spares So keep your buggy it’s among the best buggies around and you have a very good engine to push you at the top positions.
After reading you responses and talking to the guys at the track this afternoon, I believe I have come to the conclusion that I will race the Hyper 7 hyped7 adding a couple good servos to it, I doubt the rtr servos are worth their salt. Like the sound of the 8ight 2. If you have a smooth buggy which drives around the track without oversteering or understeering with a good engine it’s all you’ll ever need.
General – Nitro Search In. As I said in my post right abve, i could really use a place to start from to tune this buggy.
